Quality Inspection

Quality Inspection in China

Inspection is most useful when the product specification, approved sample, packaging requirements and acceptance rules are clear. We coordinate checks in China and report findings before the next order decision.

Confirm the inspection brief against the approved sample and specification

Confirm the Inspection Brief

  • We first align the checklist with your specification, approved sample, packaging files and known product risks, so the supplier and inspector use the same reference.
  • The brief records critical requirements, sample basis, test method, tolerances, reporting format and who will decide whether the inspected lot can proceed.
  • Reference photos and clear defect examples reduce interpretation gaps. Any approved sample changes should be added to the final specification before inspection.

Inspection Stages

Pre-Production Check

Before production, checks can confirm approved samples, key materials, components, colour references and production readiness. The scope is tailored to the risks in the order.

During-Production Inspection

An in-process inspection reviews work while production is under way. Early findings can give the supplier time to investigate and correct recurring issues before the full quantity is completed.

Final Random Inspection

A final random inspection examines finished and packed goods using an agreed checklist and sampling plan. It can include workmanship, function, quantity, labels, cartons and basic packaging tests.

Pre-Shipment Check

A pre-shipment check provides evidence about the inspected lot before dispatch. If an issue is found, we document it and help communicate next steps; release, rework or reinspection remains the buyer’s decision.

Check Goods During or Before Shipment

Check goods during production or before shipment
  • During-production, pre-shipment or one-by-one checks can be selected according to the order stage and risk. Full-quantity inspection improves coverage, but it still cannot identify every possible issue.
  • We can also coordinate an independent inspection or laboratory provider when your customer, category or destination requires specialist testing.

Review Factory Capability

Review factory capability and production controls
  • An on-site review can document the factory location, production lines, equipment, staffing and quality-control process relevant to the proposed order. It is evidence for your decision, not a blanket certification of future output.

What Inspection Helps You Control

Reduce Rework and Surprises

Finding issues before international freight can reduce the cost and delay associated with returns, sorting and remanufacturing after arrival.

Document Issues Clearly

Photos, quantities and observations give you a clearer basis for discussing rework, replacement, acceptance or another inspection with the supplier.

Match the Plan to the Product

Inspection depth depends on the product, order value and risk. The plan may combine visual checks, measurements, simple function tests, packaging review or specialist laboratory testing.
